fun in the countryside // Photoshoot with an old Landy

I wanted to create a real country feel to our Christmas cards this year. I am very inspired by the outdoors and as a family we love taking long walks when we can. However the reality is they often end in tears (the kids not me hehe) and head to toe in mud with the boys cold and begging to be carried, but still it is good to get out in the mud and fresh air and watch the seasons changing collecting pinecones or conkers and using the fallen leaves to make pictures.

We had such a great time organising this shoot! So much so I would like to do them again next year as Christmas Mini Sessions. Leave me a comment or send me a message if you think you might be interested in this. The boys especially loved the hot chocolate and getting to sit on the bonnet of the old Land Rover Defender.

Charlotte from Artemisia Floral Design kindly made the beautiful festive wreath and I got the Christmas tree and little wooden Rudolf from Clayton Fold Christmas Tree Farm. Such gorgeous trees from there, pruned all year round to give them the most fabulous shape! The pretty plant dyed silk ribbon tied to the top of the tree is from Northern Hands.
